New Class Offered at MJC

Enhance Your Pets Health with Touch Techniques

Saturday, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
2 sessions starting March 1, 2014, ending March 8, 2014 at Modesto Junior College

Certified Acupressurist and animal whisperer, Roberta Anderson, PhD, will introduce you to hands-on techniques to enhance your pet’s health. Come learn how to use alternative Touching Techniques to assist in your pet’s physical and emotional well-being. The techniques Roberta shares have been successfully applied to reduce anxiety, pain and discomfort following emotional trauma, illness, accidents or surgery experienced by her client’s dogs and cats. This class is specifically designed as a supplement to traditional veterinary care. Check out this website for more details about Roberta and her Touching Techniques.

Please read: Any student who wishes to bring their animal to class during the second session will need to provide the following evidence of vaccinations and safety equipment to the instructor on the first day of class. For Dogs: Distemper/Parvo annual, Rabies every 3yrs, & Bordetella annual. For Cats: RCPC - Feline Distemper, LEUK - Feline Leukemia, & Feline Rabies. All Dogs will need to be soft muzzled and on a leash. All Cats will need to be in Carrying Cages. E-mail questions about class content to Subject line: MJC Class.
